The servants answered: Aman standeth in the court, and the king said: Let him come in.


And said: If it please the king, and if I have found favour in his sight, and my request be not disagreeable to him, I beseech thee, that the former letters of Aman the traitor and enemy of the Jews, by which he commanded that they should be destroyed in all the king's provinces, may be reversed by new letters.

For they have destroyed the things which thou hast made: but what has the just man done?


who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all things that are in them.


3 Because he hath strengthened the bolts of thy gates, he hath blessed thy children within thee.


3 Who hath made my feet like the feet of harts: and who setteth me upon high places.


2 The king of powers is of the beloved, of the beloved; and the beauty of the house shall divide spoils.


2 He that rejecteth instruction, despiseth his own soul: but he that yieldeth to reproof possesseth understanding.


6 Make straight the path for thy feet, and all thy ways shall be established.


9 Behold one shall come up as a lion from the swelling of the Jordan, against the strong and beautiful: for I will make him run suddenly upon her: and who shall be the chosen one whom I may appoint over her? for who is like to m? and who shall abide me? and who is that shepherd that can withstand my countenance?


Hear this, ye old men, and give ear, all ye inhabitants of the land: did this ever happen in your days, or in the days of your fathers?


3 Your words have been unsufferable to me, saith the Lord.


Therefore judge not before the time; until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts; and then shall every man have praise from God.


6 Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before the Lord thy God in the place which he shall choose: in the feast of unleavened bread, in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles. No one shall appear with his hands empty before the Lord:


But if you have respect to persons, you commit sin, being reproved by the law as transgressors.
