Even to your old age I am the same, and to your grey hairs I will carry you: I have made you, and I will bear: I will carry and will save.


7 For what is the good thing of him, and what is his beautiful thing, but the corn of the elect, and wine springing forth virgins?


Art thou he that art to come, or look we for another?


Or have ye not read in the law, that on the sabbath days the priests in the temple break the sabbath, and are without blame?


9 Or how can any one enter into the house of the strong, and rifle his goods, unless he first bind the strong? and then he will rifle his house.


6 But he said: Are you also yet without understanding?


And he preached, saying: There cometh after me one mightier than I, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to stoop down and loose.


4 For I say to you, that many prophets and kings have desired to see the things that you see, and have not seen them; and to hear the things that you hear, and have not heard them.


Jesus saith to him: Have I been so long a time with you; and have you not known me? Philip, he that seeth me seeth the Father also. How sayest thou, Shew us the Father?


2 So also you now indeed have sorrow; but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice; and your joy no man shall take from you.


8 As thou hast sent me into the world, I also have sent them into the world.


5 So (as much as is in me) I am ready to preach the gospel to you also that are at Rome.


1 But as it is written: They to whom he was not spoken of, shall see, and they that have not heard shall understand.


What shall we say, then? Is the law sin? God forbid. But I do not know sin, but by the law; for I had not known concupiscence, if the law did not say: Thou shalt not covet.


7 And if sons, heirs also; heirs indeed of God, and joint heirs with Christ: yet so, if we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified with him.


2 Now this I say, that every one of you saith: I indeed am of Paul; and I am of Apollo; and I am of Cephas; and I of Christ.


The man indeed ought not to cover his head, because he is the image and glory of God; but the woman is the glory of the man.


That our hope for you may be steadfast: knowing that as you are partakers of the sufferings, so shall you be also of the consolation.


But I say to the unmarried, and to the widows: It is good for them if they so continue, even as I.


8 But God is faithful, for our preaching which was to you, was not, It is, and It is not.


As we said before, so now I say again: If any one preach to you a gospel, besides that which you have received, let him be anathema.


For he saith: In an accepted time have I heard thee; and in the day of salvation have I helped thee. Behold, now is the acceptable time; behold, now is the day of salvation.


In the word of truth, in the power of God; by the armour of justice on the right hand and on the left;


And this I pray, that your charity may more and more abound in knowledge, and in all understanding:


Labour as a good soldier of Christ Jesus.


Therefore ought we more diligently to observe the things which we have heard, lest perhaps we should let them slip.


0 Wherefore, brethren, labour the more, that by good works you may make sure your calling and election. For doing these things, you shall not sin at any time.


If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just, to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all iniquity.


And every one that hath this hope in him, sanctifieth himself, as he also is holy.


Dearly beloved, thou dost faithfully whatever thou dost for the brethren, and that for strangers,
