That thou mayest know the verity of those words in which thou hast been instructed.

And when supper was done, (the devil having now put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon, to betray him,)


But the other disciples came in the ship, (for they were not far from the land, but as it were two hundred cubits,) dragging the net with fishes.


4 For John was not yet cast into prison.


6 And they came to John, and said to him: Rabbi, he that was with thee beyond the Jordan, to whom thou gavest testimony, behold he baptizeth, and all men come to him.


For his disciples were gone into the city to buy meats.


4 For Jesus himself gave testimony that a prophet hath no honour in his own country.


5 For my flesh is meat indeed: and my blood is drink indeed.


8 This is the bread that came down from heaven. Not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead. He that eateth this bread, shall live for ever.


9 These things he said, teaching in the synagogue, in Capharnaum.


6 After this many of his disciples went back; and walked no more with him.


9 They took up stones therefore to cast at him. But Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple.


But you are not in the flesh, but in the spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.


8 In all things give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you all.


Be you also as living stones built up, a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.


4 As children of obedience, not fashioned according to the former desires of your ignorance:


3 And this is his commandment, that we should believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ: and love one another, as he hath given commandment unto us.


0 He that believeth in the Son of God, hath the testimony of God in himself. He that believeth not the Son, maketh him a liar: because he believeth not in the testimony which God hath testified of his Son.
