8 And the second came, saying: Lord, thy pound hath gained five pounds.


And he said to them: The harvest indeed is great, but the labourers are few. Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he send labourers into his harvest.


7 And the two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus.


(And Mary was she that anointed the Lord with ointment, and wiped his feet with her hair: whose brother Lazarus was sick.)


0 Neither do you consider that it is expedient for you that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation perish not.


6 And I have made known thy name to them, and will make it known; that the love wherewith thou hast loved me, may be in them, and I in them.


Judas therefore having received a band of soldiers and servants from the chief priests and the Pharisees, cometh thither with lanterns and torches and weapons.


They answered him: Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus saith to them: I am he. And Judas also, who betrayed him, stood with them.


Again therefore he asked them: Whom seek ye? And they said, Jesus of Nazareth.


1 And now I am not in the world, and these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep them in thy name whom thou has given me; that they may be one, as we also are.


6 They are not of the world, as I also am not of the world.


9 Jesus saith to him: Because thou hast seen me, Thomas, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and have believed.


Now Jacob's well was there. Jesus therefore being wearied with his journey, sat thus on the well. It was about the sixth hour.


4 How can you believe, who receive glory one from another: and the glory which is from God alone, you do not seek?


6 For if you did believe Moses, you would perhaps believe me also; for he wrote of me.


And this he said to try him; for he himself knew what he would do.


7 All that the Father giveth to me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me, I will not cast out.


6 Not that any man hath seen the Father; but he who is of God, he hath seen the Father.


5 And he said: Therefore did I say to you, that no man can come to me, unless it be given him by my Father.


7 And on the last, and great day of the festivity, Jesus stood and cried, saying: If any man thirst, let him come to me, and drink.


9 They said therefore to him: Where is thy Father? Jesus answered: Neither me do you know, nor my Father: if you did know me, perhaps you would know my Father also.


0 But I seek not my own glory: there is one that seeketh and judgeth.


1 But he that hateth his brother, is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth; because the darkness hath blinded his eyes.


In this we know that we love the children of God: when we love God, and keep his commandments.
