The Lord is merciful and just, and our God sheweth mercy.


Who is this King of Glory? the Lord who is strong and mighty: the Lord mighty in battle.


7 Seeing thou hast hated discipline: and hast cast my words behind thee.


4 Thou shalt eat, but shalt not be filled: and thy humiliation shall be in the midst of thee: and thou shalt take hold, but shalt not save: and those whom thou shalt save, I will give up to the sword.


But he said to them: Have you not read what David did when he was hungry, and they that were with him:


4 And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Jesus again answering, saith to them: Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches, to enter into the kingdom of God?


9 But he willing to justify himself, said to Jesus: And who is my neighbour?

9 And do you therefore love strangers, because you also were strangers in the land of Egypt.


5 And again he said: Spread thy mantle, wherewith thou art covered, and hold it with both hands. And when she spread it and held it, he measured six measures of barley, and laid it upon her. And she carried it and went into the city,


8 And the Lord sent thee on the way, and said: Go, and kill the sinners of Amalec, and thou shalt fight against them until thou hast utterly destroyed them.
