1 Let our hearts also be perfect with the Lord our God, that we may walk in his statutes, and keep his commandments, as at this day.


0 And the Levites are to stand in the morning to give thanks, and to sing praises to the Lord: and in like manner in the evening,


Bring ye to the Lord, O ye kindreds of the Gentiles, bring ye to the Lord glory and honour:


0 Hear the word of the Lord, O ye nations, and declare it in the islands that are afar off, and say: He that scattered Israel will gather him: and he will keep him as the shepherd doth his flock.


Thus saith the Lord concerning the prophets that make my people err: that bite with their teeth, and preach peace: and if a man give not something into their mouth, they prepare war against him.


3 Beware lest thou offer thy holocausts in every place that thou shalt see:


And thou shalt speak thus in the sight of the Lord thy God: The Syrian pursued my father, who went down into Egypt, and sojourned there in a very small number, and grew into a nation great and strong and of an infinite multitude.


5 I will pass over therefore, and will see this excellent land beyond the Jordan, and this goodly mountain, and Libanus.


6 I call this day heaven and earth to witness, that you shall quickly perish out of the land, which, when you have passed over the Jordan, you shall possess. You shall not dwell therein long, but the Lord will destroy you,


Of Gessuri and Machati, and of half Galaad: the borders of Sehon the king of Hesebon.
