This I know from the beginning, since man was placed upon the earth,


0 With my whole heart have I sought after thee: let me not stray from thy commandments.


2 Whatsoever goeth upon the breast on four feet, or hath many feet, or traileth on the earth, you shall not eat, because it is abominable.


6 And every one that heareth these my words, and doth them not, shall be like a foolish man that built his house upon the sand,


1 And they asked him: What then? Art thou Elias? And he said: I am not. Art thou the prophet? And he answered: No.


1 Amen, amen I say to thee, that we speak what we know, and we testify what we have seen, and you receive not our testimony.


8 To do what thy hand and thy counsel decreed to be done.


0 For in that he died to sin, he died once; but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God:


6 Let us not be made desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying on another.


1 Who must be reproved, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake.


To you therefore that believe, he is honour: but to them that believe not, the stone which the builders rejected, the same is made the head of the corner:


Whosoever is born of God, commmitteth not sin: for his seed abideth in him, and he can not sin, because he is born of God.


5 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer. And you know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in himself.


6 And we have known, and have believed the charity, which God hath to us. God is charity: and he that abideth in charity, abideth in God, and God in him.


0 He that believeth in the Son of God, hath the testimony of God in himself. He that believeth not the Son, maketh him a liar: because he believeth not in the testimony which God hath testified of his Son.


And this is charity, that we walk according to his commandments. For this is the commandment, that, as you have heard from the beginning, you should walk in the same:


3 These things I write to you, that you may know that you have eternal life, you who believe in the name of the Son of God.


And the angels who kept not their principality, but forsook their own habitation, he hath reserved under darkness in everlasting chains, unto the judgment of the great day.
