If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
and be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, even as God also in Christ forgave you.
Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy.He will turn again and have compassion upon us; he will tread our iniquities under foot: and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.
I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake; and I will not remember thy sins.
Wherefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature: the old things are passed away; behold, they are become new.
forbearing one another, and forgiving each other, if any man have a complaint against any; even as the Lord forgave you, so also do ye:
I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid: I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; And thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah
But God commendeth his own love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
He that covereth his transgressions shall not prosper: But whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall obtain mercy.
For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive, And plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.
And judge not, and ye shall not be judged: and condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: release, and ye shall be released:
let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?But there is forgiveness with thee, That thou mayest be feared.
For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
For God sent not the Son into the world to judge the world; but that the world should be saved through him.
And he hath said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my power is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness; According to the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.Create in me a clean heart, O God; And renew a right spirit within me.Cast me not away from thy presence; And take not thy holy spirit from me.Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation: And uphold me with a free spirit.Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; And sinners shall be converted unto thee.Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation; And my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.O Lord, open thou my lips; And my mouth shall shew forth thy praise.For thou delightest not in sacrifice; else would I give it: Thou hast no pleasure in burnt offering.The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: A broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion: Build thou the walls of Jerusalem.Then shalt thou delight in the sacrifices of righteousness, in burnt offering and whole burnt offering: Then shall they offer bullocks upon thine altar.Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, And cleanse me from my sin.
for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God;being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
in whom we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace,
The LORD redeemeth the soul of his servants: And none of them that trust in him shall be condemned.
Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.
and they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin will I remember no more.
Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: According to thy lovingkindness remember thou me, For thy goodness' sake, O LORD.
Faithful is the saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief:
And such were some of you: but ye were washed, but ye were sanctified, but ye were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and in the Spirit of our God.
But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel: Fear not, for I have redeemed thee; I have called thee by thy name, thou art mine.
And be not fashioned according to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish unto God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
And Jesus said, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And parting his garments among them, they cast lots.
My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye may not sin. And if any man sin, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some count slackness; but is longsuffering to you-ward, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
Let us therefore draw near with boldness unto the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace to help us in time of need.
Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: For the LORD upholdeth him with his hand.
for by grace have ye been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins: return unto me; for I have redeemed thee.
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers,nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
I have been crucified with Christ; yet I live; and yet no longer I, but Christ liveth in me: and that life which I now live in the flesh I live in faith, the faith which is in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself up for me.
Then came Peter, and said to him, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? until seven times?Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times; but, Until seventy times seven.
above all things being fervent in your love among yourselves; for love covereth a multitude of sins:
But unto each one of us was the grace given according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
Brethren, I count not myself yet to have apprehended: but one thing I do, forgetting the things which are behind, and stretching forward to the things which are before,I press on toward the goal unto the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
But the salvation of the righteous is of the LORD: He is their strong hold in the time of trouble.
for with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
There is no fear in love: but perfect love casteth out fear, because fear hath punishment; and he that feareth is not made perfect in love.
The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: A broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.
But all things are of God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ, and gave unto us the ministry of reconciliation;
who his own self bare our sins in his body upon the tree, that we, having died unto sins, might live unto righteousness; by whose stripes ye were healed.
to the praise of the glory of his grace, which he freely bestowed on us in the Beloved:in whom we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace,
For ye received not the spirit of bondage again unto fear; but ye received the spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
Him who knew no sin he made to be sin on our behalf; that we might become the righteousness of God in him.
For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.
knowing this, that our old man was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be done away, that so we should no longer be in bondage to sin;
Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, in the power of the Holy Ghost.
But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not found vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth him that sent me, hath eternal life, and cometh not into judgement, but hath passed out of death into life.
being confident of this very thing, that he which began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ:
and hope putteth not to shame; because the love of God hath been shed abroad in our hearts through the Holy Ghost which was given unto us.
that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, that ye may be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inward man;
Now the God of patience and of comfort grant you to be of the same mind one with another according to Christ Jesus:
Therefore let us also, seeing we are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
And the God of all grace, who called you unto his eternal glory in Christ, after that ye have suffered a little while, shall himself perfect, stablish, strengthen you.
Cast thy burden upon the LORD, And he shall sustain thee: He shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.
but they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; they shall walk, and not faint.
I will give thanks unto thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: Wonderful are thy works; And that my soul knoweth right well.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort;who comforteth us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort them that are in any affliction, through the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart, And lean not upon thine own understanding:In all thy ways acknowledge him, And he shall direct thy paths.
For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that through patience and through comfort of the scriptures we might have hope.
The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honourable, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
yea, we ourselves have had the answer of death within ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead:
saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, And whose sins are covered.Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not reckon sin.
Fear thou not, for I am with thee; be not dismayed, for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
And we know that to them that love God all things work together for good, even to them that are called according to his purpose.
let us draw near with a true heart in fulness of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our body washed with pure water:
Wherefore girding up the loins of your mind, be sober and set your hope perfectly on the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;
