So they signaled to their partners in the other boat to come and help them. They came and filled both boats so full that they began to sink.
So those who received his message were immersed, and that day about three thousand souls were added.
But many who heard the message believed, and the number of the men came to about five thousand.
Therefore, my dearly loved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always excelling in the work of the Lord—because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.
