A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children, but a sinner’s wealth is stored up for the righteous.
“When Adonai your God cuts off the nations whose land Adonai your God is giving you, and you dispossess them and dwell in their cities and houses,
For Adonai your God is bringing you into a good land—a land of wadis with water, of springs and fountains flowing out in the valleys and hills,
But as for the cities that stood on their mounds, Israel did not burn any of them, except Hazor alone, which Joshua did burn.
Not one good thing that Adonai had promised to the house of Israel failed. All came to pass.
