Many are saying of me, “There is no deliverance for him in Elohim.” Selah.


Nun I have been young, and now I am old; Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, Or his seed begging bread.


For יהוה loves right-ruling, And does not forsake His lovingly-committed ones; They shall be guarded forever, But the seed of the wrongdoers is cut off.


With murder in my bones, My enemies have reproached me, While they say to me all day long, “Where is your Elohim?”


Understand this please, you who forget Eloah, Lest I tear you in pieces, With no one to deliver:"


Lest they tear at my throat like a lion, Rending in pieces, with no one to deliver.


“Now if you are ready when you hear the sound of the horn, the flute, the zither, the lyre, the harp, the pipes, and all kinds of instruments, and you fall down and do obeisance to the image which I have made, good! But if you do not do obeisance, you are immediately thrown into the midst of a burning furnace of fire. And who is the elah who does deliver you from my hands?”


And about the ninth hour יהושע cried out with a loud voice, saying, "Ěli, Ěli, lemah sheḇaqtani?” that is, “My Ěl, My Ěl, why have You forsaken Me?”


But the rest said, “Leave it, let us see if Ěliyahu comes to save Him.”


And Sha’ul was informed that Dawiḏ had gone to Qe‛ilah. Then Sha’ul said, “Elohim has estranged him into my hand, for he has shut himself in by entering a town that has gates and bars.”
