And these are the names of the sons of Gĕreshom: Liḇni and Shim‛i.


These are the names of the sons of Lĕwi according to their generations: Gĕrshon, and Qehath, and Merari. And the years of the life of Lĕwi were one hundred and thirty-seven.


the clan of the house of Lĕwi by itself, and their women by themselves; the clan of Shim‛i by itself, and their women by themselves;


These are the clans of the Lĕwites: the clan of the Liḇnites, the clan of the Ḥeḇronites, the clan of the Maḥlites, the clan of the Mushites, and the clan of the Qorḥites. And Qehath brought forth Amram.


And these are the names of the sons of Gĕrshon by their clans: Liḇni and Shim‛i.


And the sons of Merari by their clans: Maḥli and Mushi. These are the clans of the Lĕwites by their fathers’ houses.


Their registered ones, according to the number of all the males from a new moon old and above, their registered ones were seven thousand five hundred.


“Take a census also of the sons of Gĕrshon, by their fathers’ house, by their clans.


And the children of Gĕrshon had thirteen cities by lot from the clans of the tribe of Yissasḵar, from the tribe of Ashĕr, from the tribe of Naphtali, and from the half-tribe of Menashsheh in Bashan.
