Listen, O daughter, and see, And incline your ear, And forget your own people and your father’s house;


And Mosheh sent off his father-in-law, and he went away to his own land.


“But what do you think? A man had two sons, and he came to the first and said, ‘Son, go, work today in my vineyard.’


“And he answering, said, ‘I do not wish to,’ but afterwards he repented and went.


If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, and wife, and children, and brothers, and sisters, and his own life too, he is unable to be My taught one.


So from now onwards we know no one according to the flesh. And if we have known Messiah according to the flesh, yet now we no longer know Him thus.


In belief all these died, not having received the promises, but seeing them from a distance, welcomed and embraced them, and confessed that they were aliens and strangers on the earth.


By belief, Aḇraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he was about to receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going.


And the children of the Qĕynite, father-in-law of Mosheh, went up from the city of palms with the children of Yehuḏah into the Wilderness of Yehuḏah, which is in the Neḡeḇ of Araḏ. And they went and dwelt among the people.
