Then He came to His taught ones and said to them, “Still sleeping and taking rest? See, the hour has come near, and the Son of Aḏam is delivered up into the hands of sinners.


And while He was still speaking, see, Yehuḏah, one of the twelve, with a large crowd with swords and clubs, came from the chief priests and elders of the people.


Rise up, let us go. See, he who is delivering Me up has drawn near.


“But I have an immersion to be immersed with, and how distressed I am until it is accomplished!


And He said to them, “With desire I have desired to eat this Pĕsaḥ with you before My suffering,


“But see, the hand of him delivering Me up is with Me on the table.


And it came to be, when the days of His taking up were being completed, even He set His face to go to Yerushalayim,


but, in order for the world to know that I love the Father, and that as the Father commanded Me, so I am doing. Rise up, let us go from here.


And Kĕpha, turning around, saw the taught one whom יהושע loved following, who also had leaned on His breast at the supper, and said, “Master, who is the one who is delivering You up?”


And Sha’ul answered, “What do you mean by weeping and breaking my heart? For I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die at Yerushalayim for the Name of the Master יהושע.”


And it came to be, when the Philistine arose and came and drew near to meet Dawiḏ, that Dawiḏ hurried and ran toward the army to meet the Philistine.
