The sons of Amram: Aharon and Mosheh. And Aharon was set apart, he and his sons forever, that he should set apart the most set-apart, to burn incense before יהוה, to serve Him, and to give the blessing in His Name forever.


But Aharon and his sons offered on the slaughter-place of ascending offering and on the slaughter-place of incense, for all the work of the Most Set-apart Place, and to make atonement for Yisra’ĕl, according to all that Mosheh the servant of Elohim had commanded.


But when he became strong his heart was lifted up, to his destruction, for he trespassed against יהוה his Elohim by entering the Hĕḵal of יהוה to burn incense on the slaughter-place of incense.


“My sons, do not be slack, for יהוה has chosen you to stand before Him, to serve Him, and to be attendants for Him and burn incense.”


a remembrance to the children of Yisra’ĕl that no stranger who is not of the seed of Aharon, should come near to offer incense before יהוה, and not be like Qoraḥ and his company – as יהוה had said to him through Mosheh.


And throwing down the pieces of silver in the Dwelling Place he left, and went and hanged himself.


And these having been prepared like this, the priests always went into the first part of the Tent, accomplishing the services.
