And he called the name of that place Bĕyth Ěl, however, the name of that city had been Luz previously.
And all the soldiers who were with him went up and drew near, and came before the city and camped on the north side of Ai, with the valley between them and Ai.
So they stationed the people, all the army that was on the north of the city, and its rear guard on the west of the city, and Yehoshua went that night into the midst of the valley.
And the house of Yosĕph also went up against Bĕyth Ěl, and יהוה was with them.
