And it came to be, when Yaḇin sovereign of Ḥatsor heard, that he sent to Yoḇaḇ sovereign of Maḏon, and to the sovereign of Shimron, and to the sovereign of Aḵshaph,
And the border went around it on the north side of Ḥannathon, and it ended in the Valley of Yiphthaḥ Ěl;
This was the inheritance of the children of Zeḇulun for their clans, these cities with their villages.
Neither did Zeḇulun drive out the inhabitants of Qitron or the inhabitants of Nahalol, so the Kena‛anites dwelt in their midst, and became compulsory labour.
And there was a young man from Bĕyth Leḥem in Yehuḏah, of the clan of Yehuḏah. And he was a Lĕwite, and he was sojourning there.
And both of them went until they came to Bĕyth Leḥem. And it came to be, when they had come to Bĕyth Leḥem, that all the city was moved because of them, and they said, “Is this Na‛omi?”
