As for the Yeḇusites, the inhabitants of Yerushalayim, the children of Yehuḏah were unable to drive them out, so the Yeḇusites have dwelt with the children of Yehuḏah at Yerushalayim to this day.
And they did not drive out the Kena‛anites who dwelt in Gezer, so the Kena‛anites dwell among the Ephrayimites to this day and have become compulsory labour.
