Your rulers are stubborn, and companions of thieves. Everyone loves bribes, and runs after rewards. They do not defend the fatherless, nor does the cause of the widow reach them.

and He was not speaking to them without parables. And when they were alone, He explained all to His taught ones.

And He said to them, “These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all have to be filled that were written in the Torah of Mosheh and the Prophets and the Psalms concerning Me.”
“And the Father who sent Me, He bore witness of Me. You have neither heard His voice at any time, nor seen His form.
“You search the Scriptures, because you think you possess everlasting life in them. And these are the ones that bear witness of Me.
“To this One all the prophets bear witness, that through His Name, everyone believing in Him does receive forgiveness of sins.”
“But this is how Elohim has filled what He had announced beforehand through the mouth of all the prophets, that His Messiah was to suffer.
“For Mosheh truly said to the fathers, ‘יהוה your Elohim shall raise up for you a Prophet like me from your brothers. Him you shall hear according to all matters, whatever He says to you.
And Philip opening his mouth, and beginning at this Scripture, brought to him the Good News: יהושע!
“And you returned and wept before יהוה, but יהוה would not listen to your voice nor give ear to you.
“יהוה your Elohim shall raise up for you a Prophet like me from your midst, from your brothers. Listen to Him,
And I fell at his feet to worship him, but he said to me, “See, do not do it! I am your fellow servant, and of your brothers who possess the witness of יהושע. Worship Elohim! For the witness of יהושע is the spirit of prophecy.”
