Precious in the eyes of יהוה  Is the death of His kind ones.


For the redemption of their lives is costly, And it shall cease forever;


He redeems their life from oppression and from violence; And their blood is precious in His eyes.

And Sha’ul said to Shemu’ĕ


Then he said, “I have sinned. But esteem me now, please, before the elders of my people and before Yisra’ĕ


And the princes of the Philistines went out to fight. And it came to be, whenever they went out, that Dawiḏ


“And see, as your life has been valued in my eyes today, so let my life be valued in the eyes of יהוה, and let Him deliver me out of all distress.”


And it was reported to Sha’ul that Dawiḏ
