For thou hast delivered my soul from death, Mine eyes from tears, And my feet from falling.
How long shall I take counsel in my soul, Having sorrow in my heart all the day? How long shall mine enemy be exalted over me?
Arise, O LORD, Confront him, cast him down: Deliver my soul from the wicked by thy sword;
Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: According to thy lovingkindness remember thou me, For thy goodness' sake, O LORD.
But as for me, my prayer is unto thee, O LORD, in an acceptable time: O God, in the multitude of thy mercy, Answer me in the truth of thy salvation.
How long, O God, shall the adversary reproach? Shall the enemy blaspheme thy name for ever?
