For dogs have compassed me: The assembly of evil-doers have enclosed me; They pierced my hands and my feet.


The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, There is no fear of God before his eyes.


Let them be ashamed and confounded together That seek after my soul to destroy it: Let them be turned backward and brought to dishonour That delight in my hurt.


Judge me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation: O deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man.


Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge? Who eat up my people as they eat bread, And call not upon God.


I am become a stranger unto my brethren, And an alien unto my mother's children.


O God, the proud are risen up against me, And the congregation of violent men have sought after my soul, And have not set thee before them.
