Commit thyself unto the LORD; let him deliver him: Let him deliver him, seeing he delighteth in him.


Cast thy burden upon the LORD, And he shall sustain thee: He shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.


Commit thy works unto the LORD, And thy thoughts shall be established.


For all this I laid to my heart, even to explore all this; that the righteous, and the wise, and their works, are in the hand of God: whether it be love or hatred, man knoweth it not; all is before them.


Who is he that saith, and it cometh to pass, when the Lord commandeth it not?


Therefore I say unto you, Be not anxious for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than the food, and the body than the raiment?

For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall both live, and do this or that.
