Behold, he putteth no trust in his holy ones; Yea, the heavens are not clean in his sight.
For he looketh to the ends of the earth, And seeth under the whole heaven;
Behold, he putteth no trust in his servants; And his angels he chargeth with folly:
The LORD is in his holy temple, The LORD, his throne is in heaven; His eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.
For though the LORD be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: But the haughty he knoweth from afar.
From the place of his habitation he looketh forth Upon all the inhabitants of the earth;
For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy: I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.
Above him stood the seraphim: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly.
For all these things hath mine hand made, and so all these things came to be, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and that trembleth at my word.
