in the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.


Remember, I beseech thee, that thou hast fashioned me as clay; And wilt thou bring me into dust again?


Wilt thou harass a driven leaf? And wilt thou pursue the dry stubble?


And why dost thou not pardon my transgression, and take away mine iniquity? For now shall I lie down in the dust; And thou shall seek me diligently, but I shall not be.


O remember how short my time is: For what vanity hast thou created all the children of men!

Ye turn things upside down! Shall the potter be counted as clay; that the thing made should say of him that made it, He made me not; or the thing framed say of him that framed it, He hath no understanding?
