and testifiedst against them, that thou mightest bring them again unto thy law: yet they dealt proudly, and hearkened not unto thy commandments, but sinned against thy judgements, (which if a man do, he shall live in them,) and withdrew the shoulder, and hardened their neck, and would not hear.


Thou art good, and doest good; Teach me thy statutes.


Why boastest thou thyself in mischief, O mighty man? the mercy of God endureth continually.


But the children rebelled against me; they walked not in my statutes, neither kept my judgements to do them, which if a man do, he shall live in them; they profaned my sabbaths: then I said I would pour out my fury upon them, to accomplish my anger against them in the wilderness.


Ye shall therefore keep my statutes, and my judgements: which if a man do, he shall live in them: I am the LORD.


For Moses writeth that the man that doeth the righteousness which is of the law shall live thereby.


Every good gift and every perfect boon is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, neither shadow that is cast by turning.


And we know and have believed the love which God hath in us. God is love; and he that abideth in love abideth in God, and God abideth in him.


There is none holy as the LORD; for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God.
