And it was so, when the days of their feasting were gone about, that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burn offerings according to the number of them all: for Job said. It may be that my sons have sinned, and renounced God in their hearts. Thus did Job continually


Thou shalt give to the priests the Levites that be of the seed of Zadok, which are near unto me, to minister unto me, saith the Lord GOD a young bullock for a sin offering.


And when they have accomplished the days, it shall be that upon the eighth day, and forward, the priests shall make your burnt offerings upon the altar, and your peace offerings; and I will accept you, saith the Lord GOD.


Herewith shall Aaron come into the holy place: with a young bullock for a sin offering, and a ram for a burnt offering.


And he shall take the two goats, and set them before the LORD at the door of the tent of meeting.


And Moses said unto Aaron, Draw near unto the altar, and offer thy sin offering, and thy burnt offering, and make atonement for thyself, and for the people: and offer the oblation of the people, and make atonement for them; as the LORD commanded.


who needeth not daily, like those high priests, to offer up sacrifices, first for his own sins, and then for the sins of the people: for this he did once for all, when he offered up himself.


nor yet through the blood of goats and calves, but through his own blood, entered in once for all into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption.


but into the second the high priest alone, once in the year, not without blood, which he offereth for himself, and for the errors of the people:
