And when she had brought them near unto him to eat, he took hold of her, and said unto her, Come lie with me, my sister.
To deliver thee from the strange woman, Even from the stranger which flattereth with her words;
For on account of a whorish woman a man is brought to a piece of bread: And the adulteress hunteth for the precious life.
So she caught him, and kissed him, And with an impudent face she said unto him:
Therefore the showers have been withholden, and there hath been no latter rain; yet thou hadst a whore's forehead, thou refusedst to be ashamed.
Thou hast built thy lofty place at every head of the way, and hast made thy beauty an abomination, and hast opened thy feet to every one that passed by, and multiplied thy whoredom.
A wife that committeth adultery! that taketh strangers instead of her husband!
And the contrary is in thee from other women in thy whoredoms, in that none followeth thee to commit whoredom: and whereas thou givest hire, and no hire is given unto thee, therefore thou art contrary.
but I say unto you, that every one that looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.
having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; enticing unstedfast souls; having a heart exercised in covetousness; children of cursing;
For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the vainglory of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
