He hath redeemed my soul from going into the pit, And my life shall behold the light
To bring back his soul from the pit, That he may be enlightened with the light of the living.
For thou hast delivered my soul from death: Hast thou not delivered my feet from falling? That I may walk before God In the light of the living.
For the LORD God is a sun and a shield: The LORD will give grace and glory: No good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.
The light of the eyes rejoiceth the heart: And good tidings make the bones fat.
