Then said the king unto him, Thinkest thou not that Bel is a living god? or seest thou not how much he eateth and drinketh every day?
The king said to him, “You believe Bel is a living god, don’t you? Haven’t you seen how much he eats and drinks every day?”
“And don't you believe that our god Bel is really alive?” asked the king. “Haven't you seen how much he eats and drinks every day?”
