And Jehoiada the priest commanded the captains of hundreds that were set over the host, and said unto them, Have her forth between the ranks; and him that followeth her slay with the sword: for the priest said, Let her not be slain in the house of the LORD.
So they made way for her; and she went to the entry of the horse gate to the king's house: and they slew her there.
Above the horse gate repaired the priests, every one over against his own house.
And the whole valley of the dead bodies, and of the ashes, and all the fields unto the brook Kidron, unto the corner of the horse gate toward the east, shall be holy unto the LORD; it shall not be plucked up, nor thrown down any more for ever.
For with what judgement ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured unto you.
For judgement is without mercy to him that hath shewed no mercy: mercy glorieth against judgement.
