Then the people of Israel set out, and encamped in the plains of Moab beyond the Jordan at Jericho.
“Take a census of the people, from twenty years old and upward,” as the Lord commanded Moses. The people of Israel, who came forth out of the land of Egypt, were:
These were those numbered by Moses and Eleazar the priest, who numbered the people of Israel in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho.
Then they brought the captives and the booty and the spoil to Moses, and to Eleazar the priest, and to the congregation of the people of Israel, at the camp on the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho.
And they set out from the mountains of Abarim, and encamped in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho;
