The Lord says to my lord: “Sit at my right hand, till I make your enemies your footstool.”


You will make them as a blazing oven when you appear. The Lord will swallow them up in his wrath; and fire will consume them.


If David thus calls him Lord, how is he his son?”


Jesus said to him, “You have said so. But I tell you, hereafter you will see the Son of man seated at the right hand of Power, and coming on the clouds of heaven.”

To the church of God which is at Corinth, to those sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints together with all those who in every place call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, both their Lord and ours:


For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet.


Indeed I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as refuse, in order that I may gain Christ


But to what angel has he ever said, “Sit at my right hand till I make thy enemies a stool for thy feet”?


He reflects the glory of God and bears the very stamp of his nature, upholding the universe by his word of power. When he had made purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,


looking to Jesus the pioneer and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.


And I saw the beast and the kings of the earth with their armies gathered to make war against him who sits upon the horse and against his army.
