When she saw that she was baffled, that her hope was lost, she took another of her whelps and made him a young lion.

And of Gad he said, “Blessed be he who enlarges Gad! Gad couches like a lion, he tears the arm, and the crown of the head.


Then one of the elders said to me, “Weep not; lo, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has conquered, so that he can open the scroll and its seven seals.”
