In midst of thee there shall not be any strange god at all; Nor unto any god unknown thou bowing down shalt fall.
There shall no strange god be in thee; Neither shalt thou worship any strange god.
There shall no strange god be among you, neither shall you worship any alien god.
There shall no strange god be in thee; Neither shalt thou worship any foreign god.
There must be no foreign god among you. You must not bow down to any strange deity.
If we God's name forgot, or stretch'd to a strange god our hands,
My people Isr'el hear, speak will I from on high, Against thee I will testify; God, ev'n thy God, am I.
