O Lord, I trust in thee: My God, let me not be asham'd, nor foes triumph o'er me.


But as for me, O Lord, my trust upon thee I did lay; And I to thee, Thou art my God, did confidently say.


In God I trust; I will not fear what man can do to me.


O Lord my God, in thee do I my confidence repose: Save and deliver me from all my persecuting foes;


Lest that the enemy my soul should, like a lion, tear, In pieces rending it, while there is no deliverer.
