We have heard with our ears, O God; our ancestors have told us what deeds you performed in their days, in the days of old:


I will meditate on all your work and muse on your mighty deeds.


For you, O Lord, have made me glad by your work; at the works of your hands I sing for joy.


O Lord, I have heard of your renown, and I stand in awe, O Lord, of your work. In our own time revive it; in our own time make it known; in wrath may you remember mercy.


And as for your little ones who you thought would become plunder, your children who today do not yet know right from wrong, they shall enter there; to them I will give it, and they shall take possession of it.


The Rock, his work is perfect, and all his ways are just. A faithful God, without deceit, just and upright is he;
