He gives rain on the earth and sends waters on the fields;


who redeems your life from the Pit, who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy,


From your lofty abode you water the mountains; the earth is satisfied with the fruit of your work.


you set the beams of your chambers on the waters; you make the clouds your chariot; you ride on the wings of the wind;


All the paths of the Lord are steadfast love and faithfulness, for those who keep his covenant and his decrees.


They feast on the abundance of your house, and you give them drink from the river of your delights.


For you bless the righteous, O Lord; you cover them with favor as with a shield.


your flock found a dwelling in it; in your goodness, O God, you provided for the needy.


The simple are adorned with folly, but the clever are crowned with knowledge.


Who knows whether he will not turn and relent and leave a blessing behind him, a grain offering and a drink offering for the Lord your God?


Is there any seed left in the barn? Do the vine, the fig tree, the pomegranate, and the olive tree still yield nothing? From this day on I will bless you.”
