Their mouths are filled with cursing and deceit and oppression; under their tongues are mischief and iniquity.


Let sinners be consumed from the earth, and let the wicked be no more. Bless the Lord, O my soul. Praise the Lord!


He loved to curse; let curses come on him. He did not like blessing; may it be far from him.


Do not kill them, or my people may forget; make them totter by your power and bring them down, O Lord, our shield.

You shall be made to eat grass like oxen, you shall be bathed with the dew of heaven, and seven times shall pass over you, until you have learned that the Most High has sovereignty over the kingdom of mortals and gives it to whom he will.


And the Lord’s anger was kindled against Israel, and he made them wander in the wilderness for forty years, until all the generation that had done evil in the sight of the Lord had disappeared.
