Their mouths are filled with cursing and deceit and oppression; under their tongues are mischief and iniquity.


But the steadfast love of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear him, and his righteousness to children’s children,


O give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever.


For the insolent have risen against me; the ruthless seek my life; they do not set God before them. Selah


There they are, bellowing with their mouths, with sharp words on their lips, for “Who,” they think, “will hear us?”


See how they conceive evil and are pregnant with mischief and bring forth lies.


They pour out their arrogant words; all the evildoers boast.

with perverted mind devising evil, continually sowing discord;


a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that hurry to run to evil,


No one brings suit justly; no one goes to law honestly; they rely on empty pleas; they speak lies, conceiving mischief and bearing iniquity.

Their tongue is a deadly arrow; it speaks deceit through the mouth. They all speak friendly words to their neighbors but inwardly are planning to lay an ambush.

For people will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy,
