O Lord, all my longing is known to you; my sighing is not hidden from you.
Lord, all my desire is before thee; And my groaning is not hid from thee.

Everything I long for is laid out before you, my Lord; my sighs aren’t hidden from you.
Rescue me from all my iniquities. You have handed me over as reproach to the foolish.
Deliver thou me from all my iniquities: thou hast made me a reproach to the fool.
O Lord, you will hear the desire of the meek; you will strengthen their heart; you will incline your ear
to hear the groans of the prisoners, to set free those who were doomed to die,
Because of my loud groaning, my bones cling to my skin.
I am weary with my moaning; every night I flood my bed with tears; I drench my couch with my weeping.
Nathanael asked him, “Where did you get to know me?” Jesus answered, “I saw you under the fig tree before Philip called you.”
For in this tent we groan, longing to be further clothed with our heavenly dwelling,
