And the king will answer them, ‘Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did it to me.’
Then he took a little child and put it among them, and taking it in his arms he said to them,
“Whoever listens to you listens to me, and whoever rejects you rejects me, and whoever rejects me rejects the one who sent me.”
and said to them, “Whoever welcomes this child in my name welcomes me, and whoever welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me, for the least among all of you is the greatest.”
Very truly, I tell you, whoever receives one whom I send receives me, and whoever receives me receives him who sent me.”
so that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. Anyone who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him.
Therefore whoever rejects this rejects not human authority but God, who also gives his Holy Spirit to you.
