“When you come upon your enemy’s ox or donkey going astray, you shall bring it back.
You shall make for them linen undergarments to cover their naked flesh; they shall reach from the hips to the thighs.
Do not be a witness against your neighbor without cause, and do not deceive with your lips.
lest I be full and deny you and say, “Who is the Lord?” or I be poor and steal and profane the name of my God.
Will you steal, murder, commit adultery, swear falsely, make offerings to Baal, and go after other gods that you have not known
When they go out into the outer court to the people, they shall remove the vestments in which they have been ministering and lay them in the holy chambers, and they shall put on other garments, so that they may not communicate holiness to the people with their vestments.
He shall remove its entrails close to its tail feathers and throw it at the east side of the altar, in the place for ashes.
He shall put on the holy linen tunic and shall have the linen undergarments next to his body, fasten the linen sash, and wear the linen turban; these are the holy vestments. He shall bathe his body in water and then put them on.
And you shall not swear falsely by my name, profaning the name of your God: I am the Lord.
I have sent it out, says the Lord of hosts, and it shall enter the house of the thief and the house of anyone who swears falsely by my name, and it shall abide in that house and consume it, both timber and stones.”
Then I will draw near to you for judgment; I will be swift to bear witness against the sorcerers, against the adulterers, against those who swear falsely, against those who oppress the hired workers in their wages, the widow, and the orphan, against those who thrust aside the alien and do not fear me, says the Lord of hosts.
