One who secretly slanders a neighbor I will destroy. A haughty look and an arrogant heart I will not tolerate.


Drive out a scoffer, and strife goes out; quarreling and abuse will cease.


The priest shall come again on the seventh day and make an inspection; if the disease has spread in the walls of the house,


He shall have the inside of the house scraped thoroughly, and the plaster that is scraped off shall be dumped in an unclean place outside the city.


Then he shall take off his vestments and put on other garments and carry the ashes out to a clean place outside the camp.


If that person refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church, and if the offender refuses to listen even to the church, let such a one be to you as a gentile and a tax collector.

Outside are the dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.
