But the Lord said to me, “Do not say, ‘I am only a boy,’ for you shall go to all to whom I send you, and you shall speak whatever I command you.
and you will be dragged before governors and kings because of me, as a testimony to them and the gentiles.
You did not choose me, but I chose you. And I appointed you to go and bear fruit, fruit that will last, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask him in my name.
While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.”
After greeting them, he related one by one the things that God had done among the gentiles through his ministry.
Then he said, ‘The God of our ancestors has chosen you to know his will, to see the Righteous One, and to hear his own voice,

Agrippa said to Festus, “I would like to hear the man myself.” “Tomorrow,” he said, “you will hear him.”
Agrippa said to Paul, “You have permission to speak for yourself.” Then Paul stretched out his hand and began to defend himself:
Agrippa said to Festus, “This man could have been set free if he had not appealed to the emperor.”
and he said, ‘Do not be afraid, Paul; you must stand before the emperor, and, indeed, God has granted safety to all those who are sailing with you.’
Three days later he called together the local leaders of the Jews. When they had assembled, he said to them, “Brothers, though I had done nothing against our people or the customs of our ancestors, yet I was arrested in Jerusalem and handed over to the Romans.
“Let it be known to you, then, that this salvation of God has been sent to the gentiles; they will listen.”
Paul, a servant of Christ Jesus, called to be an apostle, set apart for the gospel of God,
through whom we have received grace and apostleship to bring about the obedience of faith among all the gentiles for the sake of his name,
Now I am speaking to you gentiles. Inasmuch as I am an apostle to the gentiles, I celebrate my ministry
But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace toward me has not been in vain. On the contrary, I worked harder than any of them, though it was not I but the grace of God that is with me.
