The wicked see it and are angry; they gnash their teeth and melt away; the desire of the wicked comes to nothing.
For the insolent have risen against me; the ruthless seek my life; they do not set God before them. Selah
The desire of the righteous ends only in good, the expectation of the wicked in wrath.
Do not lie in wait like an outlaw against the home of the righteous; do no violence to the place where the righteous live;
Many seek the favor of a ruler, but it is from the Lord that one gets justice.
“If a Levite leaves any of your towns, from wherever he has been residing in Israel, and comes to the place that the Lord will choose (and he may come whenever he wishes),
