Jesus said to him, “Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have come to believe.”


Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love me, for I came from God, and now I am here. I did not come on my own, but he sent me.


He brought them up into the house and set food before them, and he and his entire household rejoiced that he had become a believer in God.


For the kingdom of God is not food and drink but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.


May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.


Let anyone be accursed who has no love for the Lord. Our Lord, come!

In this you rejoice, even if now for a little while you have had to suffer various trials,


This honor, then, is for you who believe, but for those who do not believe, “The stone that the builders rejected has become the very head of the corner,”


And when the chief shepherd appears, you will win the crown of glory that never fades away.
