If we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord; so then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord’s.


But I want you to understand that Christ is the head of every man, and the man is the head of the woman, and God is the head of Christ.


But each in its own order: Christ the first fruits, then at his coming those who belong to Christ.


When all things are subjected to him, then the Son himself will also be subjected to the one who put all things in subjection under him, so that God may be all in all.


For whoever was called in the Lord as a slave is a freed person belonging to the Lord, just as whoever was free when called is a slave belonging to Christ.


yet for us there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we exist, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and through whom we exist.


Look at what is before your eyes. If you are confident that you belong to Christ, remind yourself of this, that just as you belong to Christ, so also do we.


And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s offspring, heirs according to the promise.


And those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
