Why is it thought incredible by any of you that God raises the dead?


And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them over to an unfit mind and to do things that should not be done.


Besides this, you know what time it is, how it is already the moment for you to wake from sleep. For salvation is nearer to us now than when we became believers;


I am not writing this to make you ashamed but to admonish you as my beloved children.


I say this to your shame. Can it be that there is no one person wise enough to decide between brothers and sisters?


It is not everyone, however, who has this knowledge. Since some have become so accustomed to idols until now, they still think of the food they eat as food offered to an idol, and their conscience, being weak, is defiled.
