Then Zedeki´ah the son of Chena´anah came near, and smote Micai´ah upon the cheek, and said, Which way went the Spirit of the Lord from me to speak unto thee?


They have gaped upon me with their mouth; they have smitten me upon the cheek reproachfully; they have gathered themselves together against me.

Jesus answered him, If I have spoken evil, bear witness of the evil: but if well, why smitest thou me?


And after five days Anani´as the high priest descended with the elders, and with a certain orator named Tertul´lus, who informed the governor against Paul.
